With nuanced phrasing and a crystal-clear voice that soars, singer-songwriter & jazz singer Katie Ditschun draws audiences in with her sincerity and warmth.
Her FACTOR-funded debut album Spare Skirt (2018) was inspired by jazz, blues, funk, folk, and female singer-songwriters. Tracks include “The Moon” and “That is that,” both Canadian Independent Music Video Awards finalists.
Katie’s holiday single “Be Still” (2020) was included in the CBC Holiday Playlist and her jazz composition “One Voice” (2022) was an ISC semi-finalist.
Katie’s latest release, “In Your Arms,” from her 70s-influenced pop/folk EP There Will Be Flowers (2025), was a pop category finalist in the InterContinental Music Awards. Katie recently opened for Juno-nominated artist Ndidi O at the St. Lawrence Acoustic Stage.
